High mast with mobile panel sliding on external rail, manual movement, complying with the machinery directive DPR450/96, CE mark, CE marked, made by a company ISO9001 certified and having authorisation as processing centre according to DM 14/01/08, brand palicampion, type CPM (16/18/20/25), designed according to methods established by the construction theory and according to the standard in force, to support N° (max 8/6/4) floodlights (400/1000/2000) W, type (symmetric/asymmetric, arranged on (180°/360 ), composed of:
Monotubular tapered shape shaft with polygonal cross section in several section joined by forced overlapping, manufactured by cold forming of trapezium of pressed steel plate and subsequent external longitudinal welding carried out by approved automatic process (submerged arc) and welding check according to EN ISO 3834
Provided to be fixed to the basement by direct burying, or with base plate and anchor bolts, and provided at base with cable entry slot and earth device and suitable reinforced access door. Plate on trop for trailing head fixing.
Tolerances on dimensions UNI EN 40/2 - UNI EN 10051.
Protection against corrosion by means of hot dip galvanisation obtained with the following cycle: degreasing; pickling, washing, fluxing, pre heating; hot dip galvanization in melted zinc bath at 440÷450°, with minimum percentage of zinc into the bath ≥ 98.5%.
Coating obtained according to UNI EN ISO 1461 with minimum thickness 55 microns et average 70 microns.
Movement system according to the safety standard, composed of mobile panel, where the floodlights are fixed, supported by a cable driven on to the trailing head on top of the mast; the mobile panel sliding on the rail along the shaft, allows to lower the floodlights up to a height suitable to make maintenance at ground. The movement, transmitted to the cable, is controlled by a manual hoist, located at the base of the mast.
The trailing head is composed of a structure with one bracket for the hoisting rope and the electric; It is made of galvanised steel and provided to be fixed to the shaft by purpose made flange and bolts. The bracket is completely covered to grant the protection of the movement devices composed of the pulleys in polyamide 6.6 mounted on self-lubricated bushing and inox pivots. A system which prevents the hoisting and electric cable to go out of their groove is provided. The bracket is provided with hooking system to the mobile panel. The trailing head is supplied already assembled completed with the hoisting steel cable sheathed with polyethylene (designed with minimum safety coefficient 6) and the electric cable for floodlights powering. The hoisting rope and the electric cable are fixed on one end to a cylinder, whereas the other end is passed through the bracket and subsequently fixed to the mobile panel.
The mobile panel and the external rail are made of steel profiles hot dip galvanised. Fixed to the mobile panel there is an elastic hooking system composed of an inox pivot and double foils made of harmonic steel; this allows the panel to be strictly hooked to the head of the mast and to release completely the hoisting cable of any load during the standard operation of the mast. The external rail is composed of a coupled track in al pre-assembled elements which is fixed along the shaft by means of purpose made screws. The mobile panel is provided with safety device, which in case of failure of the hoisting rope during the raising and lowering operation, acts on the sliding rail locking the fall of the panel.
Electric plant suitable to the power to be installed, composed of the interlocked socket at the base of the shaft, where it is necessary to bring the power line, from the self-bearing anti twisting cable, completed with CEE plug at one end and then branched to the distribution box on the mobile crown in the other end (in this way all the electric contact are permanent and there are no sliding contacts). The distribution box is completed with terminal board already wired, and it has a tight socket for the test at ground by purposed made extension with CEE plug
Top cover, if required, to protect the trailing head, diameter approx. 1,70; Made of polyester resin with fibre glass hand- stratified, and protected on the surface with “gelcoat” finishing that gives a finishing touch perfectly smooth and grey coloured RAL 7032. The fibre glass which the cover is made of, is resistant to Chemical and atmospheric agents. The cover is supplied completed with brackets for fixing on the masts head.
Manual operated hoist, to be fixed to the base of the mast when necessary. The hoist is mounted on a trolley suitable for easy handling at site and it is provided with a spacer bracket which allows the operation to works with safety remote control. One hoist is enough to operate several masts having the same performances. The chain of the hoist is connected to a cylinder and transmit the movement directly to the hoist rope and therefore to the panel allowing thus the raising and lowering of the floodlights mounted on the panel. The hoist is provided with a gear which acts in case the operato stop to work on the knob, stopping the movement and stopping this the lowering of the panel.
The design of the structure and the verification of the resisting sections will be carried our according to the standard in force and verification report signed by a registered engineer
The electric plant is made only employing “CE” marked components complying to the Low-tension Directive 73/23 CEE - 93/68 CEE and to Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 89/336 - 92/31 CEE - 93/68 CEE. Conformity to Machinery directive
The masts will be provided with CE mark according to the standard in force (DPR459/06 89/392/CEE, 91/368/CEE; 93/44/CEE; 93/68/CEE). The mark on each single mas twill have to mention: model of the mast ; type ; serial number; year of manufacture
