Conical columns with octagonal or polygonal cross section, collapsible with hand balanced system, made by a company ISO9001 certified and having authorisation as processing centre according to DM 14/01/08, brand palicampion, type C……..RSB, obtained by clod bending of steel plate grade S235JR EN 10025 and subsequent external longitudinal welding carried out with automatic process (submerged arc) approved by R.I.N.A. and I.I.S. (Istituto Italiano della Saldatura) and welding check according to EN ISO 3834.

Completed with pivoting hinge, counterbalance designed according to the loads installed on top, rope and driving pulley. Movement can be carried out without effort and without any danger, provided that the declared minimum and maximum load on top are respected; in fact, pivoting is done by gravity, balanced between the weight of the floodlights on one side and the weight of the counterbalance on the other side. The operator limit himself to control, following through the movement by means of the rope. The system with the rope and driving pulley, allows to increase the weight to be installed on top, keeping the effort of the operator within the limits of the safety standard. The minimum and maximum weight on top which the columns is suitable for, are mentioned directly on the mast on a label with engraved and punched characters. During the normal operating conditions, that is with the column in vertical position, the mobile part is strictly locked to the fixed part, granting the stability of the structure.

The columns, provided for the anchorage to the basement by direct planting into the foundation block, are completed with 2 standard works at the base for the electric wiring according to the standard: cable entry slot, earthing connection.

Tolérances on dimensions UNI EN 40/2 - UNI EN 10051.

Protection against corrosion by means of hot dip galvanization obtained with the following cycle: degreasing; pickling, washing, fluxing, pre heating; hot dip galvanization in melted zinc bath at 440÷450°, with minimum percentage of zinc into the bath ≥ 98.5%.

Coating obtained according to UNI EN ISO 1461 with minimum thickness 55 microns et average 70 microns.

The columns will be CE marked according to the standard in force (DPR246/93, 89/106/CEE; 93/68/CEE). The label on each column must quote: standard reference EN40-5, manufacturer’s identification, certificate number of the authorization to the mark CE CPD P029, year of marking, product code, and order number reference.
